Dr. Van Vu graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Adelaide in 1998. He later completed further post-graduate training in Family Medicine and became a member of the Fellow of Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2003.
Working many years as a GP, he became increasingly interested in minor surgical procedures and skin cancer surgery, where he began to practice more exclusively in the skin cancer field since 2004.This then led him to complete his post-graduate program, Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer, from the University of Queensland in 2009.
Besides his work on skin cancer, Dr.Vu also performs neonatal and pediatric circumcision on a regular basis and is therefore very experienced through the large number of procedures he has performed, and from continual evaluation and improvement of technique.
